About the Role

Located in Alexandria, Louisiana, this Sales Associate position serves as a vital support pillar for the Store Leadership Team, driving the achievement of company goals and initiatives. The role is centered on delivering exceptional customer service through effective communication, deep product knowledge, and strategic selling techniques. Beyond direct customer interaction, the Sales Associate plays a key part in maintaining the store's visual standards, ensuring merchandise presentation, replenishment, and sizing are optimized while keeping the sales floor and backroom clean and organized.

Day in the Life

Your day begins with a focus on customer engagement. You will actively monitor customer activity, prioritizing assistance with a sense of urgency. From the moment a customer enters, you will greet them warmly, communicating the value and quality of the merchandise while highlighting current promotions and offering solutions for out-of-stock items. At the cashwrap, you will provide fast, friendly, and accurate service, educating customers on the benefits of the PLACE Card.

Throughout the shift, you will exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns and utilize selling skills to positively impact conversion rates. When not assisting customers directly, you will ensure stock levels are appropriate, maintaining a neat and organized stockroom that adheres to safety requirements. You will also perform daily housekeeping duties, monitor facility needs, and contribute to loss prevention efforts to guarantee company assets. Flexibility is key, as you may be called upon to process stock or adapt to changing priorities, including weekends, overnights, and evenings.

Application Instructions

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School diploma or equivalent. While previous retail experience is preferred, the primary focus is on demonstrating excellent customer engagement, time management, and the ability to thrive in a team environment. Applicants should be adaptable and capable of maneuvering on the sales floor and stockroom, including climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs.
