About the Role
This position serves as the frontline of the Hot Spot Stores and Shell Store experience, dedicated to delivering prompt, efficient, and courteous service to every customer. As a Sales Associate, you are the face of the store, responsible for greeting guests, promoting store specials, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our brand policies.
The role is designed to provide a dynamic environment where you can develop a wide range of transferable skills, from customer conflict resolution and salesmanship to leadership and money-handling procedures. While the core duties involve maintaining store operations and cleanliness, the position represents an opportunity to grow within the convenience store industry.
Work Environment & Expectations
As a variable employee, you are hired with the understanding that weekly hours may fluctuate based on business needs. You must be prepared to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, and possess the ability to work independently while following clear instructions. The physical nature of the role requires intermittent sitting, standing, and bending, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold temperatures when stocking refrigerator units.
