About the Role

This position serves as the frontline of the Hot Spot Stores and Shell Store experience, dedicated to providing prompt, efficient, and courteous service to every customer. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of the store, greeting guests, promoting specials, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our brand policies.

The role is designed to offer more than just a job; it represents an opportunity to develop transferable skills in customer conflict resolution, salesmanship, leadership, and money-handling procedures. You will work alongside the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, assisting with daily operations and learning the essentials of retail management in a dynamic convenience store environment.

Work Environment & Expectations

As a variable employee, you will be hired with the understanding that weekly hours may fluctuate based on business needs. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently, follow instructions precisely, and adapt to variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment. This includes stocking refrigeration units and shelves, managing the coffee bar and snack areas, and ensuring facilities like restrooms and parking lots are well-maintained. The role involves operating various point-of-sale and service machines, such as those for lottery, money orders, and prepaid cards, while adhering to all company policies and state laws regarding restricted sales.

Compensation

Starting pay is competitive and depends on your experience, with an hourly wage range of $1.00 - $1.01.
