About the Role

This position serves as the frontline of the Hot Spot Stores and Shell Store experience, dedicated to providing prompt, efficient, and courteous service to every customer. As a Sales Associate, you are more than just a cashier; you are an ambassador for the brand, responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment while fostering positive interactions with the community.

The role is designed to offer a dynamic day-to-day experience where no two shifts are exactly the same. You will manage store operations ranging from stocking refrigeration units and merchandise to ensuring the cleanliness of facilities, restrooms, and the coffee bar. Your day involves greeting customers, promoting store specials, and utilizing various point-of-sale systems for transactions including lottery, money orders, and prepaid cards. You will also play a key role in safety and security by following robbery prevention procedures and maintaining the parking lot and pump areas.

This position is ideal for individuals who can work independently, follow instructions precisely, and adapt to variable shifts, including weekends and holidays. While the role involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs and exposure to cold temperatures, it also offers a unique opportunity to develop transferable skills in leadership, salesmanship, conflict resolution, and financial reporting.
