About the Role

This position serves as the frontline of the Hot Spot Stores and Shell Store experience, dedicated to delivering prompt, efficient, and courteous service to every customer. As a Sales Associate, you are not just performing tasks; you are representing the brand's commitment to quality and community. The role is designed to provide a dynamic environment where you can develop transferable skills in customer conflict resolution, salesmanship, leadership, and money-handling procedures.

Day in the Life

Your day will be a blend of operational excellence and guest interaction. You will ensure the store is welcoming by keeping work areas, shelves, displays, coolers, and restrooms clean and organized. A significant portion of your time involves stocking refrigerator units with drinks and perishable goods, managing the coffee bar, and maintaining the cleanliness of the parking lot and pumps.

You will operate various point-of-sale and service machines, including lottery, money order, check cashing, and gas pumps, while adhering to strict safety and legal procedures regarding alcohol, tobacco, and other regulated items. You will also assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with daily operations, prepare accurate shift reports, and make drops into the safe as instructed. The role requires the ability to work independently and adapt to variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Hiring Process & Application

Starting pay is determined by experience, with an hourly wage range of $1.00 - $1.01. Variable employees are hired with the understanding that the company cannot initially determine the number of hours worked per week.
