Bob Boldt HVAC has been a cornerstone of the south metro area since 1988. We are not a "call-and-fix" company that installs a furnace and moves on. Instead, we specialize in performance-based system design, conducting whole-system testing, airflow verification, and providing written performance reports on every installation. We believe in informed decisions, offering homeowners four distinct options for every replacement quote rather than pushing the highest-margin product. We are building toward a fully systemized $4M company with a leadership team running operations independently. This role is not a temporary fix; we are looking for the person who wants to take ownership of the replacement sales engine and build it from the ground up.

About the Role

The Comfort Advisor role is designed for someone who wants to own a business inside a business, rather than simply fill a quota. You will be the face of our brand in homeowners' homes, often navigating stressful situations where families are deciding whether to trust you with a major replacement for their aging systems.

This position requires you to build your own pipeline alongside the leads we provide. You will work the customer database, follow up on unsold consultations, and stay engaged with Comfort Club members. There is no pre-filled calendar; you must drive your own activity. While the role is commission-only after the ramp period, the structure is designed to reward high performance, with a clear path to significant income based on your close rate, activity, and the relationships you build.

Hiring Process

We look for candidates who value follow-through and integrity. Our interview process is designed to ensure a mutual fit before you commit:

  1. Screening: Apply and answer a few brief screening questions (approx. 5 minutes).
  2. Phone Screen: A 15-minute conversation with our team.
  3. Written Assessment: A short set of questions via email where we ask who you are, not just what you've done.
  4. Performance Interview: A 45-minute deep dive into your approach and mindset.
  5. Ride-Along: A session with one of our technicians to see exactly what the job looks like in the field.

Decisions are typically made within 48 hours of the ride-along. If you have read this far, you are already different from most applicants; the wrong person often stops reading at the commission section.
