The Sales Associate is a pivotal member of the Corporate Headquarters team in Schiller Park, IL, dedicated to driving revenue and optimizing the customer experience for events of all sizes. This position focuses specifically on qualifying leads and managing the sales process for smaller events, particularly those under $5K in revenue. Working as part of a cohesive sales unit, you will bridge the gap between complex venue operations and direct customer needs, ensuring every opportunity is maximized while adhering to strict profit guidelines.
In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a diverse range of clients, handling everything from banquet bookings and exhibitor sales to affiliate business and In-Conjunction-With (ICW) events. Your day-to-day involves a dynamic mix of direct sales, lead distribution research, and technical coordination. You will guide qualified leads through the EventNow eCommerce platform, assisting Encore customers with their online buying journey while simultaneously managing direct sales commitments. Success in this position requires a balance of high-touch customer service and strategic deal-closing, ensuring that internal and external stakeholders are kept informed through confirmed order hand-offs.
This position operates within a centralized sales support environment at our Corporate Headquarters. The atmosphere is collaborative, requiring you to work alongside other Sales Associates to maintain high standards of responsiveness and professionalism. The office setting can vary from moderately quiet to noisy, reflecting the fast-paced nature of event sales.
