About the Role

As a Partnership Manager, you will build strategic relationships with designated partners to drive revenue and market share expansion. This individual contributor role reports into the VP of Partnerships & Alliances and is focused on establishing and leading the global strategy and business planning for assigned partners.

You will work within Thomson Reuters as well as within the partner's organization, building credibility and promoting our value proposition, strategy, and vision. Your day-to-day involves cultivating key executive and sales leader relationships to deliver material impact for both the partner and Thomson Reuters. You will act as a Thomson Reuters ambassador in the partner's enterprise, serving as a senior point of escalation for issues and leading problem-solving efforts. This role requires leading a global virtual team, coordinating multi-country deals, and ensuring a well-coordinated partner experience while buying from Thomson Reuters.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleProactively engage with partners to promote Thomson Reuters products and create demand
  • check_circleDevelop business plans and playbooks to drive internal and external execution
  • check_circleOwn relationships at multiple partner levels to source qualified sales pipeline
  • check_circleManage partner sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts to management
  • check_circleContribute to partner marketing efforts including seminars, webinars, and trade shows
  • check_circleLead global communication among account teams to coordinate multi-country deals
  • check_circleServe as a senior point of escalation for partner issues and lead problem solving
  • check_circleBuild and track strategic global account plans and performance indicators
  • check_circleLead a global virtual team to ensure delivery for partners
  • check_circleRepresent Thomson Reuters at industry events, conferences, and associations
  • check_circleBuild and maintain partner profile information in PRM, CRM, and related systems
  • check_circleDrive and participate in regular quarterly business reviews with partner leadership

Requirements

  • verifiedBA/BS required
  • verified7+ years of experience in sales, business development, and strategic account management
  • verified5+ years of global industry experience working for or selling into the Top 100 U.S. accounting firms
  • verifiedAbility to travel as needed

Nice to Have

Experience working in or with systems integrators, technology consultancies, and large or mid-sized organizations. Global experience across multiple markets. Experience living or working internationally.
