About the Role
Route Sales Representatives are critical to our success at FritoLay. In this role, you will drive a FritoLay truck to local stores—including gas stations, dollar stores, and large grocery stores—to deliver, sell, and merchandize our complete line of products, including Lay's, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, and Fritos. You will work independently to unload orders, partner with store managers to increase sales, and maintain daily records.
Although you will start as a Route Sales Representative, we are investing in your growth. This position can open the door to career opportunities within FritoLay or our parent company, PepsiCo. The environment is fun, fast-paced, and physical; team members are on their feet for the entirety of their shift. Because we operate 24 hours a day, schedules often include weekends and holidays, though you will eventually attain a route with set days off.
Training and Onboarding
New team members begin with four to six weeks of dedicated training focused on driving and selling basics. Onboarding starts with travel to Fargo, ND for Day 1 paperwork and a welcome call, followed by two days of onboarding in Fargo (hotels are booked for you). During this time, you will learn the role, run routes to experience different stores, meet new customers, and grow sales by building relationships and completing national initiatives.
