As a Registered Professional Dialysis Nurse, you will deliver safe, high-quality patient care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will actively partner with patients to develop and implement individualized care plans, providing direct and indirect care throughout the dialysis treatment journey. Your day involves conducting pre- and post-treatment assessments, administering prescribed medications, and ensuring the safe, efficient operation of dialysis equipment and supplies in alignment with hospital policies.
Beyond clinical duties, this role emphasizes responsible stewardship. You will optimize resource use, minimize waste, and preserve the integrity of supplies and equipment while maintaining accurate, timely medical documentation that reflects both patient outcomes and prudent resource management. By combining clinical excellence with operational responsibility, you support the delivery of high-value, sustainable dialysis care.
