About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the newly opened Center for Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at our Somerville Campus. This facility offers a transformative continuum of patient and family-centered care for diverse youth with mental health needs, including children ages 3-12, adolescents 13-17, and children with neuro-developmental disorders.

You will be part of the 6 East and 6 West Child Unit, a 20-bed secured psychiatric unit providing care for children between the ages of 3 and 11. Our approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and deeply focused on assessment, stabilization, and after-care treatment planning. A multi-disciplinary team works together to provide care that prioritizes the patient and their family, with a continued emphasis on restraint reduction.

Hiring Process & Application

Newly hired experienced RNs with 2 years of experience in the specialty are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated for part-time employees). Please note that the final offer may vary within the listed pay range based on a candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Additionally, newly hired candidates are required to successfully complete a job-specific physical test.
