The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a fast-paced, dynamic environment dedicated to delivering exceptional care to adult patients with high acuity needs. We specialize in complex conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, and respiratory issues. Our team operates at the forefront of post-operative cardiac care, managing heart catheterizations, pacemakers, and open-heart surgeries, while also providing non-invasive respiratory support and care for sepsis and kidney disease.
About the Role
This role is designed for a compassionate and detail-oriented nurse ready to elevate their career. You will serve as a vital link between patients, their families, and the interdisciplinary care team. In this position, you will provide goal-directed, individualized nursing care, utilizing your clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to manage patient safety and quality.
You will work within a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio designed for high-acuity care, responding quickly to changing patient conditions. Your day will involve collaborating with a motivated team that thrives on learning and the dynamic nature of patient care, utilizing cutting-edge technology for procedures like TAVR and mitral clips. The role requires staying calm under pressure, prioritizing effectively, and maintaining a commitment to patient care and integrity.

Requirements
