About the Role
The Head and Neck Surgical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) serves as a vital clinical resource within the Surgical Services department, ensuring exceptional, patient-centered care and seamless coordination for all head and neck procedures. In this role, you will embody the organization's vision and values, directing and evaluating surgical care to optimize outcomes in the complex head and neck oncology service line.
You will partner with management, providers, and subject matter experts to enhance the quality of surgical care. Your day-to-day impact includes overseeing daily operations, maintaining staff scheduling and call assignments, and collaborating with supply leaders to ensure equipment readiness. As a flexible team member, you will also serve in various surgical roles, including circulating RN and surgical technologist, while assisting in the development and training of the head and neck surgical team.
