About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room, you will be the cornerstone of patient safety and care quality within our Grand Rapids facility. This role exists to ensure that every surgical patient receives compassionate, high-standard nursing care from pre-operative assessment through post-operative handoff. You will work within a collaborative team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment while adhering to strict federal, state, and accreditation standards.

In this full-time position, you will manage the flow of the operating room, supervising patient care and directing support staff as needed. Your day involves assessing patient needs, prioritizing care plans, and documenting every step of the nursing process with precision. You will serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families, communicating effectively to alleviate anxiety and ensure understanding. Whether performing circulating duties, managing sterile supplies, or assisting the surgical team, your focus remains on delivering a seamless and positive patient experience.

Our center operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We are committed to work-life balance, offering a schedule that avoids late nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts, allowing you to dedicate your professional expertise during core business hours.
