About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse to join our dynamic interdisciplinary team. In this role, you will be an integral member of a collaborative surgical unit where your expertise in patient care and workflow efficiency is highly valued. You will work alongside surgeons, providers, and surgical technologists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Your day will involve evaluating patients prior to surgery, managing intravenous therapy and preoperative medications, and ensuring surgical site verification through universal protocols. You will provide essential education to patients and families regarding procedures and follow-up measures, while continuously monitoring patient conditions and responding to emergencies. We foster a culture of mutual respect, offering self-preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance and opportunities to round with unit leaders to share your voice on patient care improvements.
