About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room to join our healthcare family on a PRN basis. In this role, you will be celebrated for being on the front line, bringing empathy to patient care. You will work within a culture of mutual respect and collaboration among all surgical staff, supported by continuous investment in equipment to ensure patient safety and workflow efficiency.

As an OR nurse, you will evaluate patients prior to surgery, provide education to patients and families regarding procedures and the peri-operative process, and assume responsibility for patient preparation, including intravenous therapy and surgical site verification. You will participate in critical safety protocols, such as briefings, time-outs, and debriefing, while recognizing and responding to patient emergencies. Your day will involve rounding with unit leaders to ensure your voice is heard on suggestions for patient care and surgical workflow improvement. This position requires the ability to take call during select non-business hours.
