This Registered Nurse position is based at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado, within the Medical Surgical Progressive Care department. You will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care within a technically complex Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The role prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice, utilizing the nursing process to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
You will work in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment where you are expected to model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth. The position involves a day and night rotation schedule, working full-time (72 hours per pay period). Clinical Educators will support and guide your individualized specialty education and training, ensuring competency validation throughout your clinical orientation using AACN's Synergy Model and various specialty certification standards.
