At the GSS MN Blackduck Northern Pines facility, the Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital member of the inter-disciplinary team. You will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with residents, families, and providers to plan, implement, and evaluate health outcomes. Your day involves caring for residents through all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, while ensuring coordination of care and resident education.
This role offers the opportunity to serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while providing the support necessary to ensure safe and reliable care delivery. You will practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the standards of the Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
This is a part-time position with a weekly schedule of 24 hours. The role is based on 10-hour night shifts.
