Join a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of history providing housing and services to seniors. The Good Samaritan Society is proud to be one of the largest non-profit providers of senior services in the US. Since our founding in 1922, we have been driven by a mission rooted in Christian values, believing that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion.
At the GSS NE Albion facility, you will join a compassionate and dedicated staff committed to the well-being of our residents. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care plans.
Your day will involve caring for residents through all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. You will coordinate care, conduct assessments, and provide education, ensuring all interventions align with the full scope of nursing expertise. In this role, you may serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while providing the support necessary to ensure safe and reliable care delivery. Your practice will be grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as published by the American Nurses Association.
