Join a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of history providing housing and services to seniors. The Good Samaritan Society is proud to be one of the largest non-profit providers of senior services in the US. Since our founding in 1922, we have been driven by a mission and belief that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion within a Christian environment.
At the GSS NE Albion facility, you will join a compassionate and dedicated staff committed to the well-being of our residents. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Your role involves caring for residents through all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, while coordinating care and providing resident education.
You will function within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as published by the American Nurses Association. Depending on the needs of the unit, you may serve as a charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe and reliable administration of resident care.
Good Samaritan is an EEO/AA Employer (M/F/Disability/Vet). If you are an individual with a disability and would like to request an accommodation for help with your online application, please call 1-877-673-0854 or send an email to talent@sanfordhealth.org.
Please note that Good Samaritan maintains a Drug Free Workplace Policy. An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.
