Join a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of history providing housing and services to seniors. The Good Samaritan Society is proud to be one of the largest non-profit providers of senior services in the US. Since our founding in 1922, we have been driven by a mission and belief that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion within a Christian environment.
At the GSS NE Albion facility, our staff is compassionate and dedicated to the residents. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. You will care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, while coordinating care and providing resident education.
In this role, you may serve as a charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe, reliable administration of care. Your practice will be grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as published by the American Nurses Association, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state.
