Join a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of history providing housing and services to seniors. The Good Samaritan Society is proud to be one of the largest non-profit providers of senior services in the US. Since our founding in 1922, we have been driven by a mission and belief that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion within a Christian environment.
At the GSS NE Albion facility, our staff is compassionate and dedicated to the residents. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care, collaborating with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. You will care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, while coordinating care and providing resident education.
This role may involve serving as a charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, and ensuring safe, reliable administration of resident care. You will function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy. An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.
If you are an individual with a disability and would like to request an accommodation for help with your online application, please call 1-877-673-0854 or send an email to talent@sanfordhealth.org.
