Join a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of history providing housing and services to seniors. The Good Samaritan Society is proud to be one of the largest non-profit providers of senior services in the US. Since our founding in 1922, we have been driven by a mission to treat everyone with respect, dignity, and compassion within a Christian environment.
At the GSS NE Albion facility, you will join a compassionate and dedicated staff committed to the well-being of our residents. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care plans.
Your day will involve caring for residents through all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. You will coordinate care, conduct assessments, and provide education, ensuring all interventions align with age and population-specific standards. You may also serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe and reliable administration of care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
An accepted offer is contingent upon passing a drug screen and pre-employment background screening, as we maintain a Drug Free Workplace Policy. If you are an individual with a disability and require an accommodation for the online application process, please contact 1-877-673-0854 or email talent@sanfordhealth.org.
Good Samaritan is an EEO/AA Employer (M/F/Disability/Vet) dedicated to diversity and inclusion. We believe in creating an environment where every team member and resident is valued.
