Join a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of history providing housing and services to seniors. The Good Samaritan Society is proud to be one of the largest non-profit providers of senior services in the US. Since our founding in 1922, we have been driven by a mission and belief that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion within a Christian environment.
At the GSS NE Albion facility, you will join a compassionate and dedicated staff committed to the well-being of our residents. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care plans. Your role involves caring for residents through all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, while coordinating care and delivering resident education.
You may serve as a charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe and reliable administration of care. Your practice will be grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as published by the American Nurses Association, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state.
An accepted offer is contingent upon passing a drug screen and pre-employment background screening, as we maintain a Drug Free Workplace Policy. If you are an individual with a disability and require an accommodation for the online application process, please call 1-877-673-0854 or email talent@sanfordhealth.org.
