At the GSS NE Albion facility, the Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital member of the inter-disciplinary team, utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with residents, families, and providers.
You will practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the standards of the American Nurses Association and the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include coordinating care, conducting resident assessments, providing education, and managing preventative care and treatment across all phases of health maintenance. As a potential charge nurse, you will delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe and reliable administration of care while supporting your team in resolving service concerns.
