At the GSS NE Albion facility, the Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital member of the care team, utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. This role involves collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues—including providers—to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
As a key professional, you will coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and lead education initiatives. You may also serve as the charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe, reliable administration of care. Your practice will be grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state.
This position is part of the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program. As an active participant, you will receive monetary incentives in exchange for a service commitment to work in a rural county for a five-year period, helping to strengthen healthcare access in our community.
