At the GSS NE Albion facility, the Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital member of the inter-disciplinary team, utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. This role involves collaborating with residents, families, and providers to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
As a key participant in the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program, this position offers a unique opportunity to serve a rural community. In exchange for a five-year service commitment, selected nursing professionals receive monetary incentives. The role may include serving as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, and ensuring safe, reliable administration of resident care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
