At the GSS NE Albion facility, the Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital member of the inter-disciplinary team, utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. This role involves collaborating with residents, families, and providers to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of preventative health, maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
As a key coordinator of care, you will conduct resident assessments, lead education initiatives, and perform various nursing interventions. The position may include serving as a charge nurse, where you will delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe and reliable administration of care while adhering to the State of Nebraska Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
This position is part of the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program. As an active participant, the organization offers monetary incentives to select nursing professionals who commit to serving in this rural county for a five-year period, helping to strengthen the local healthcare workforce.
