As a Registered Nurse at our GSS NE Albion facility, you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. Your role involves collaborating with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
You will serve as a vital link in care coordination, resident assessment, and education. In this capacity, you may act as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe, reliable administration of care. Your practice will be grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as published by the American Nurses Association, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state.
This position is an active participant in the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program. This initiative offers monetary incentives to nursing professionals, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, in exchange for a service commitment to work in a rural county for a five-year period.
