At the GSS NE Albion facility, the Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital member of the inter-disciplinary team, utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. This role involves collaborating with residents, families, and providers to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
As a key participant in the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program, this position offers a unique opportunity to serve a rural community with a 5-year service commitment in exchange for monetary incentives. The RN may also serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe, reliable administration of care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
