At the GSS NE Albion facility, the Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital member of the inter-disciplinary team, utilizing the nursing process to deliver individualized care to residents. This role goes beyond clinical tasks; it involves collaborating with residents, families, and providers to plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care strategies.
You will practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses. Your day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating care, conducting resident assessments, providing education, and managing preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. As a potential charge nurse, you will also delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe and reliable administration of care while supporting your team.
