At the GSS NE Albion facility, the Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital member of the care team, utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. This role involves collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues—including providers—to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. You will practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to age and population-specific standards while caring for residents through all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
In this position, you may serve as the charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel. You will ensure safe and reliable administration of care by providing adequate support to delegates and resolving care concerns. Your practice will be grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as published by the American Nurses Association, operating within the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state.
This position is an active participant in the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program. This initiative offers monetary incentives to nursing professionals, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, in exchange for a service commitment to work in a rural county for a five-year period.
