As a Registered Nurse (RN) at our Sioux Falls facility, you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. Your role involves collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues—including providers—to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. You will care for residents through all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
In this position, you may serve as a charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe and reliable administration of care. You will function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
This is a PRN (as needed) position with a minimum requirement of 30 hours per month. The schedule varies and includes one weekend shift per month. The role may require travel to support multiple locations within a 150-mile radius of your permanent address, with mileage reimbursement provided for required travel.
