As a Registered Nurse (RN) at the GSS ND Bis St Vincent Care Ctr in Bismarck, ND, you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. Your role involves collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of preventative health, maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
You will serve as a leader within the team, potentially acting as a charge nurse and delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe, reliable administration of care. Your practice will be grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as published by the American Nurses Association, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state.
This position operates on a flexible schedule with 36 hours per week. Shifts vary and include nights and weekends. As a Flex Plus employee, you will have a permanent home location but may be deployed to sister centers if the primary facility has lower needs. This role includes specific differentials for travel, weekend shifts, and evening/night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
