About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the largest long-term care facility in South Dakota, located at Sioux Falls Village. This role is vital to our vision, as you will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents across general long-term care, short-stay rehab, and our memory care unit.
In this position, you will collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. You will practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, caring for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. The role also involves coordinating care, conducting resident assessments, and providing education. As a team member, you may serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe and reliable administration of care.
Work Environment
We foster a fun, family-oriented work environment. While the position is full-time with a 40-hour week, it requires a rotation of every other weekend and holidays. Shifts are day shifts (6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 6:00 am - 6:30 pm). We offer shift differentials for nights and weekends, holiday pay, and opportunities for advancement and salary increases.
