This position is based in a Level 2 Trauma Center that also serves as a Stroke Center and approved Chest Pain Center, maintaining both geriatrics and pediatric accreditations. The Emergency Department unit features 26 beds and serves a patient population spanning the entire spectrum from pediatrics to geriatrics.
You will work in a culture defined by teamwork and mutual appreciation, where educators and a dedicated trauma coordinator support the maintenance of ED competencies. The environment encourages collaboration among technicians, nurses, and providers to ensure high-quality care. In this role, you will manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1, utilizing skills such as IV placement, medication administration, critical patient management, sedation assistance, casting, and wound management.
