At SCL Health Medical Group Clinics, we are dedicated to evolving the primary care experience through strong team development and streamlined workflows. This role sits at the intersection of clinical excellence and operational efficiency, working closely with Clinic Managers, Process Improvement, Ambulatory Informatics, Pharmacy, and other system resources to build high-performing Medical Assistant teams.
You will serve as the primary architect for the development of Medical Assistant Teams and Leads, focusing on workflows, protocols, and team building. As a Subject Matter Expert for the MA Scope of Practice, you will coach providers and MAs to build trusting work relationships that maximize patient-centered care. Your day-to-day involves observing work flows, evaluating processes, and redesigning them to improve quality. You will also drive the execution of MA roles in pharmacy guidelines, including vaccine administration, controlled substances, and medication safety practices.
This position is vital for standardizing necessary MA protocols and leading clinic orientation and training materials. You will actively participate in Quality Improvement (QI) meetings to support MA-driven measures and lead process improvement projects focused on the MA role. By partnering with leadership, you will help shape the future of our integrated primary care teams.
Qualified candidates will be considered for this role at our Peaks Regional Office in Broomfield, Colorado. The selection process involves reviewing applications for alignment with our mission and values, followed by interviews where you will provide guidance to lead MAs and demonstrate your expertise in clinical support roles.
