This Registered Nurse position offers the opportunity to provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care within a technically complex Intensive Care Unit (ICU). You will utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality care while modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth. The role is integral to securing safety and quality at the point of care, welcoming new knowledge and adapting to the evolving needs of critically ill patients.
The ICU environment is guided by AACN's Synergy Model and various specialty certification standards. Clinical Educators are available to support and guide individualized specialty education and training, ensuring competency validation throughout your clinical orientation. This is an onsite role with a day and night rotation schedule, requiring full-time commitment (72 hours per pay period).
