About the Role

This Registered Nurse (RN) position operates within an ambulatory setting, focusing on individuals experiencing substance use and psychiatric conditions. The role utilizes a systematic nursing approach—incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide comprehensive healthcare to individuals, families, and communities. You will facilitate competent care while ensuring adherence to established standards and the Illinois Board of Nursing scope of practice. Key aspects of your day-to-day work include medication administration, patient education, and providing health and wellness guidance related to substance use, abuse, and recovery. Additionally, you will assist leadership in developing departmental standing orders and participate in initiatives designed to improve clinical outcomes within our Addiction Recovery service delivery.
