About the Role

In this ambulatory setting, the Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes a systematic approach incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver high-quality nursing practice. You will provide healthcare to individuals, families, and communities within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.

This role specifically serves a patient population experiencing substance use and psychiatric conditions. You will facilitate competent health care, ensure adherence to established standards, and assist leadership in developing departmental standing orders and performance improvement initiatives. A key part of your day will involve providing health and wellness education to individuals and groups related to substance use, abuse, and recovery, while contributing nursing input to initiatives designed to improve clinical outcomes within our Addiction Recovery service delivery.
