About the Role

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is committed to investing in the latest technology enabling nurses to work more efficiently. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will spend more time at the bedside with the patient, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will join a culture of mutual respect and collaboration among all surgical staff, rounding with unit leaders to ensure your voice is heard on suggestions for patient care and surgical workflow improvement.

In this role, you will evaluate patients prior to surgery, provide education to patients and families surrounding the procedure, and assume responsibility for patient preparation. You will be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team, applying critical thinking and technical skills to independently deliver safe nursing care. The position offers self/preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance to provide predictability, along with continuous investment in equipment to support patient safety and workflow efficiency.
