About the Greater Manchester Region
The Greater Manchester Region has approximately 2,500 employees. It includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, Rockville General, a campus of Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 102-bed facility, a large multispecialty provider group, and visiting nurse services. About the Role
This position is located at MMH-71 Haynes Street. As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. You will coordinate care by working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, communicating the patient's clinical condition, and responding quickly to changes in condition or treatment response.
You will demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care. The role involves performing comprehensive assessments, managing pain, developing individualized plans of care, and administering medications safely. You will also assist physicians with peri-anesthesia procedures, manage airways, and assess cardio-respiratory systems. This role requires the ability to function under stress, use critical thinking for priority setting, and serve as a professional role model and mentor.
