The Greater Manchester Region has approximately 2,500 employees. It includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, Rockville General, a campus of Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 102-bed facility, a large multispecialty provider group, and visiting nurse services. The region serves a population of 300,000 people across 19 towns.
This position utilizes the nursing process to provide high-quality, direct, and indirect patient-centered care. You will coordinate patient care by working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, communicating the patient's clinical condition and responding quickly to changes in condition or treatment response. The role requires demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care while promoting the nursing profession through collegial support. You will report to the Clinical Nurse Manager and serve as a professional role model and mentor.
