This Registered Nurse position is based onsite at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado, within the Surgical Oncology department. You will join a dynamic team working in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment to provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care.
The role focuses on specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity. You will utilize the nursing process to prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. The position values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes and contributes to securing safety and quality at the point of care.
As a member of the team, you will model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth and welcoming new knowledge. Clinical Educators will support and guide your individualized specialty education and training, ensuring competency validation throughout your clinical orientation. This is a full-time role working a Day and Night Rotation schedule (72 hours per pay period).
