About the Role
This Registered Nurse position serves as a vital part of our Acute Care team, providing direct care in Med-Surg units with moderate to high patient acuity. You will work within a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment that welcomes new knowledge and models proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth. Your role involves contributing to secure safety and quality at the point of care while adhering to AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards.
As a member of the Resource Pool, you will rotate between Day and Night shifts, working a full-time schedule of 72 hours per pay period. Clinical Educators will support and guide your individualized specialty education and training to ensure competency validation throughout your clinical orientation. This onsite role is designed for nurses who thrive in a collaborative setting where they can grow professionally while making a tangible impact on patient lives.

UCHealth is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: Graduate of accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification; 6 months of nursing (RN) experience; and BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
