BMA is seeking a Retirement & Benefits specialist with federal human capital experience to support the processing of benefit enrollment forms and standard transactions. This role is critical for ensuring accurate retirement calculations and estimates, as well as managing early out and buyout programs (VERA/VSIP) and FERS/CSRS retirement programs.
In this position, you will serve as a key resource for employees, scheduling and providing general information on standard benefit program options. You will utilize agency payroll and personnel systems to deliver data on time until retirement, current cumulative retirement amounts, and the mechanics of retirement systems. Additionally, you will gather and process program documents, including VERA/VSIP applications and retirement actions. All processing involving a commitment of government funds or the determination of employee entitlements will be reviewed by SEC personnel before finalization.
