The Retirement Analyst serves as a vital support pillar for caregivers, participants, and retirees, managing the end-to-end processing of retirement-related transactions. Working under the direction of the Manager of Retirement Operations, this role acts as a subject matter expert and liaison across multiple functional areas, including pension plans, retiree welfare benefits, and defined contribution plans (401k, 403b, 457).
In this position, you will ensure compliance with ERISA, DOL, and IRS regulations while safeguarding Intermountain Retirement plan assets. Your day-to-day involves acting as the primary interface between internal teams (Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, Finance) and external stakeholders (trustees, auditors, third-party administrators). You will analyze data to ensure accurate reporting, resolve complex discrepancies, and provide clear guidance on coverage eligibility and benefit payments.
Important Note: This is a temporary position located at the Employee Service Center in Murray, Utah.
