The Retirement Analyst serves as a vital support pillar for caregivers, participants, and retirees, managing the end-to-end processing of retirement-related transactions. Working under the direction of the Retirement Operations Manager, this role acts as a subject matter expert and primary liaison for key functional areas, including pension plans, retiree welfare benefits, and defined contribution plans (401k, 403b, 457).
In this position, you will ensure the accurate and efficient administration of Intermountain's retirement programs while safeguarding plan assets. You will interface with Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, Finance, Operations, external trustees, and third-party administrators to facilitate data transfers, resolve complex discrepancies, and coordinate benefit payments. The role requires interpreting plan provisions and applicable laws to determine eligibility, calculate benefits, and troubleshoot participant issues.

This role is based at the Employee Service Center in Murray, Utah, with a standard 40-hour work week.
