The Retirement Analyst serves as a vital support pillar for caregivers, participants, and retirees, managing the end-to-end processing of retirement-related transactions. Working under the direction of the Manager of Retirement Operations, this role acts as a subject matter expert and primary liaison for key functional areas, including pension plans, retiree welfare benefits, and defined contribution plans (401k, 403b, 457).
In this position, you will ensure the integrity of Intermountain Retirement plan assets by adhering to ERISA, DOL, and IRS regulations. You will interface with Payroll, HRIS, Finance, external trustees, and third-party administrators to extract, analyze, and report data accurately. The role involves handling specialized calculations, resolving complex discrepancies, and providing strategic direction to leadership and participants regarding benefit eligibility, coverage, and payments.
This is a temporary position based at the Employee Service Center in Murray, Utah. Please note that sourcing for new candidates and relocation requests is currently paused for the following states: California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.
