Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is dedicated to developing policies and providing essential services that improve the well-being and quality of life for all Minnesotans. As part of the DCT Financial Operations Team within the DCT Finance Accounts Payable unit, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems. About the Role

This position serves as a vital support pillar for the DCT Financial Services staff. You will be responsible for recommending, developing, and implementing internal accounting procedures while analyzing disbursement trends to maintain proper balance and controls. A key aspect of this role involves providing leadwork direction to Accounting Officers and Account Clerk Seniors, guiding their work assignments and functions related to accounts payable and receivable.

You will act as a bridge between financial analysts, managers, and supervisors, offering support on payment and vendor activities. Your work ensures that DCT, SWIFT, and MMB payment policies are upheld and that internal controls are preserved to assess and mitigate risk.

Work Environment & Telework

This role is based at 3200 Labore Rd, Ste 104, Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. The position requires being onsite at least 50% of the time, with a standard day shift schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Telework is available on a limited basis. Eligibility for telework depends on your residence:

• Candidates residing in Minnesota or a bordering state (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin) within 50 miles of the work address are eligible for limited telework.
• Candidates residing in Minnesota more than 50 miles from the primary work address may be eligible to telework more than 50% of the time.

• Background Checks: Direct Care & Treatment will conduct reference checks to verify credentials and a criminal background check prior to appointment.
• Education Verification: Applicants must provide a copy of their high school diploma at the time of the interview, or college transcripts/degree/diploma. College degrees must clearly identify the field of study.
• Health Requirements: Due to the nature of healthcare facilities, employees must provide documentation of being free from tuberculosis (TB) via a blood test prior to employment. TB skin testing is not accepted.
• Visa Status: DCT is unable to provide sponsorship for work visas. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States at the start of employment. DCT does not participate in E-Verify.
